Order Processing

Our default proceedure in filling orders: we try to ship within 3 business days what can be assembled from our in-house and warehouse stocks. Out-of-stock items are obtained from publishers and/or importers and normally follow in a week - (actual postage only, no handling fee on backorders). We will keep you advised of temporarily unavailable or discontinued items.

Payment information:

AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, MASTERCARD or VISA credit card payment: Credit card charge is not automatic. Your credit card will be charged at the time of shipping and only for items shipped.

Pre-payment by check or moneyorder in U.S. Dollars: An itemized order with the preferred shipping rate and shipping address are required, for calculation of the pre-payment total. Returns

ALL RETURNS MUST HAVE A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER

Please advise us by email (pianopal@earthlink.net) if there has been an error in the filling of your order & we will issue you a return authorization number and method for returning the merchandise for complete refund or exchange.

Opened CD, MIDI, DVD and Video products are not returnable.

Please be advised that Piano-pal does not send merchandise "on approval" and that all correctly-filled merchandise, granted return authorization for unusual circumstance, will incur a 20% restocking fee. A refund is issued for the returned music (less 20% restocking fee) only and not for postage, handling, nor sales tax (FL sales tax).

Shipping & Handling Rates

Piano-pal ships by U.S. Postal Service exclusively.

For U.S. destinations: our default shipping is U.S. Postal Service First Class or Priority Mail (exception: the Florida-delivery default is Media Mail). If a different rate is desired, or if there is a deadline, please advise us in the comments box on the secure form at checkout. If you are not in a hurry, request MEDIA MAIL in the shipping comments box on the secure form at checkout; Media Mail ("book rate") is cheaper, but has an unpredictable delivery rate - allow 2 weeks.

We ship for actual postage for each individual package plus $1.97 handling fee/order (For Express: actual Express postage plus $5 handling).

Express Shipments: Call us at (561)775-4961, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (U.S. customers: to minimize phone expense, request that we call you back). There is no other way to confirm an Express shipment capability, especially for same-day shipping! Our handling fee on Express shipments is $5.00.

International orders ship by the least expensive airmail option, which should deliver within a week of shipping. If a different rate is desired, or if there is a deadline, please advise us in the comments box on the secure form at checkout.
