Keith Snell teaches preschool through advanced students in his independent studio in Lafayette, California. He has taught students who have been accepted at the nation's leading conservatories and prepared avocational students for a lifetime of music enjoyment. His students participate in recitals, auditions, festivals and contests. Keith is Editor of the highly acclaimed Neil A. Kjos Master Composer Library and producer for Academy Records' Piano Literature Recordings. As winner of the Joanna Hodges International Piano Competition, he made his London debut in 1984. Subsequently he signed with Columbia Artist Management and recorded for Virgin Records, establishing a first-class performing career as recitalist, chamber musician and soloist with distinguished orchestras. Keith received Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He studied piano with John Perry and pedagogy with Marienne Uzler.
